Raptee Energy is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an intern to join the team at Raptee and make an immediate impact, to execute for the prototype development of electric bike from design to validation stages of new & existing Output.
What You’ll Do:
- Involve & troubleshoot various Phenomenon and electric vehicle driveline components to support complete product development and validation through prototype.
- Communicate with the vendors to order and purchase components to develop a variety of prototype models.
- Develop and test various prototyping techniques to speed the developmental activities.
- Create and maintain the documentation, estimate effort required and hold a committed schedule.
- Understand various sample development needs in an agile and continuous integration environment.
- Identify required Workshop equipment resources to support prototype/product development and its periodic maintenance
- Develop fixture and tools requirements for new technology required to develop future products.
- Help and maintain the prototype workshop clean and organized by implementing 5S.
Who Can Apply?
- The candidate must be a Mechanical/Automotive Engineer.
- Academic/industrial experience in the proto/product development of EV/Automotive applications.
- Hands on experience in assembling a motor bike.
- Required Enough Knowledge with prototyping equipment's such as 3D printing, Laser cutting, pressing machine etc and should be comfortable working with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of CNC and understanding for the capabilities and limitations of rapid prototyping processes.
- Must be a Team Player and smart worker to have the attitude to work with the team; also should handle individual responsibility wherever needed.
