Who are we:
Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.
Role Overview:
A tech-driven internship to accelerate our Industry 4.0 transformation by helping us build a smarter, more sustainable manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:
  • Contribute to the deployment, configuration, testing, and commissioning of IoT sensors,
             data acquisition systems, and smart machine monitoring solutions across manufacturing
             operations.
  • Support the development and maintenance of real-time monitoring dashboards for
            machine performance, production status, safety, and energy consumption.
  • Monitor machine performance metrics and assist in tracking Overall Equipment
            Effectiveness (OEE), downtime, and production efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring smart safety systems, including emergency alarms,
           fire and gas detection, access control, and machine safety interlocks.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze machine, energy, and sustainability-related data to support
          continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in connecting IoT devices, sensors, PLCs, and industrial equipment to IoT platforms
           using industrial communication protocols.
  • Work closely with the Engineering, Maintenance, Production, and Sustainability teams to
           implement Industry 4.0 and smart factory initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, environmental regulations, and
            sustainability objectives while working on projects.
Who Can Apply?
  • Students pursuing Computer Science / IoT, EEE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Candidates with a basic understanding of sensors, industrial automation, IoT concepts, and communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, PLCs, or similar embedded platforms is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and dashboard development; exposure to Power BI, Grafana, or Node-RED is an added advantage.
  • Passion for Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Energy Management, and Sustainability.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and willingness to learn new technologies in an industrial environment.
  • Enthusiasm to develop machine monitoring systems, energy monitoring dashboards, sustainability reports, and data visualization tools using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Grafana, and Node-RED
