Who are we:
Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a FMEA & Project Management Intern who will work closely with Quality, Production, R&D, and Manufacturing teams to strengthen assembly processes, improve product quality, and support new product introduction through structured risk assessment and process improvement activities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support preparation, updating, and maintenance of Process FMEA (PFMEA) for all vehicle assembly processes.
  • Assist in identifying potential process failure modes and documenting quality risks.
  • Track and follow up on FMEA action items with CAD, MSE, Quality, Production, R&D, Sourcing, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare FMEA review meeting minutes and maintain action trackers.
  • Support investigation of assembly process issues and quality failures.
  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto) for manufacturing defects.
  • Help update Control Plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on approved actions for all corrected Failures
  • Collect and analyze production quality data( Rejection ) to identify trends and recurring issues.
  • Support validation of corrective and preventive actions on the production line.
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely closure of assigned action items.
  • Maintain proper documentation of PFMEA revisions, project status, and quality records.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by updating manufacturing risk documents.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and dashboards for management review.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and process variation.

  • Basic knowledge of Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Willingness to learn automotive quality systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
