Who are we:
Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.


Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain Intern to support procurement and logistics operations in the Electrical & Electronics (E&E) domain for our EV projects. The role will involve supplier management, commercial negotiations, logistics optimization, and coordination with EMS partners. The intern will gain hands-on experience in building a cost-effective and efficient supply chain for the automotive industry.


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage suppliers for electrical and electronic components with complete documentation.
  • Follow up with suppliers to obtain pricing, quotes, lead time, and MOQ on time.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, especially for semiconductor and chip components.
  • Work with EMS partners for price finalization and contract pricing.
  • Collect and maintain supplier data (quotes, lead times, MOQ, contracts).
  • Handle logistics operations including customs clearance and import/export documentation.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction strategies in logistics and sourcing.
  • Consolidate shipments (e.g., from China) to reduce logistics costs and lead time.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for BOM release, design changes, and updates.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all supply chain activities.
  • Monitor and track supply chain metrics relevant to E&E components.
  • Communicate fluently with suppliers, logistics partners, and EMS partners.
  • Perform multitasking across procurement, logistics, and supplier management functions.


Who Can Apply?

  • Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of electrical & electronic components and BOMs.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain metrics, procurement, and logistics basics.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for data handling and reporting.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced EV/automotive environment.
